                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE TRACTS OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 800 AND
                   900 BLOCKS OF VINE STREET, THE 800 BLOCK OF
                   FORT WOOD STREET, AND THE 1000 BLOCK OF EAST
                   5TH STREET FROM R-4 SPECIAL ZONE TO R-3
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:

         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the

         welfare requiring it.
